So I’m doing a thing this year.
Each month I’ve committed to posting a book review based around a theme. Depending on the month, I might do more than one.
But since we’re staring a New Year (Hello, 2022, please don’t be a shitbag!) I’m going to start with My First Romance.
I remember sneaking into my mom’s room and stealing one of her books – her sister, my aunt, got her Julie Garwood’s ENTIRE backlist for Christmas, so there was a slew of them – and re-arranging the shelf so you couldn’t tell one was missing and hiding out in my room to read it.
Good times.
But those were the first romances I read, and they have a special place in my heart even now.
